When we founded Katanox driving sustainable growth through a fair marketplace for our travel buyers and accommodation suppliers has always been central to our strategy. Every step towards building a tech first distribution and financial technology platform has been guided by our values. Our values help us to maintain our culture like one - We are direct but polite, we are straightforward with our communication in a constructive way without sugarcoating our message to sharpen our ideas and making good decisions to build an ethical business.

Underpinning all of this is a simple but basic principle that we should always do what is right and it is not enough to just go by what is allowed.

Hereby we are pleased to present Katanox’s Code of Conduct (the “Code”). The Code sets out the standards of behavior and conduct to which we, as a platform and payments institution, have to adhere.

We have the accountability to our customers and partners, the society and investors, and to each other. Earning and maintaining the trust of these stakeholders is fundamental. Our Code should be at the heart of everything we do. It is designed to ensure that we conduct ourselves ethically, and in accordance with Katanox’s policies and procedures as well as the laws and regulations. Our social responsibility efforts are guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as they reflect the key societal and environmental causes.

The Code also articulates what our company stands for and what we want our overall culture to be. We want to foster an environment where people can talk about how they feel and what they believe. Where opinions count and “speaking up” is valued. The company’s success is built on respect, collaboration and teamwork guided by our values in serving our customers and partners, stakeholders and society in general. In order not to fall into clichés, we keep each other sharp by not avoiding discussions and differences of opinion.

We want to build an ethical business by driving a culture of ethical conduct. Acting according to these standards is vital for us to achieve sustainable success.

We are here to bring innovation to the hospitality distribution backbone and make it effortless for travel buyers to build direct relationships with hotels in a fair and transparent marketplace.
